Description:
We are seeking to appoint a Workbook Tutor, who will be responsible for the creation of an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) workbook. The workbook will be published in three sections to coincide with the academic term dates. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching accurate information and presenting it in a manner which is appropriate to the needs of Level One ESOL learners. The deadlines for submitting final copies of the workbook are fixed, so time management skills and flexibility are essential for this post.
We require our Workbook Tutor to work 200 hours in total, with their hours to be structured around term dates. Three workbooks are to be designed in conjunction with the term start dates of 27th September 2010, 10th January 2011, 26th April 2011.

Description:
We are looking to welcome someone to join our outdoors team as a Countryside and Gardens Trainee at Tyntesfield.
Tyntesfield is a Victorian country estate with a mansion, farmland, woodland, formal garden and walled kitchen garden. The estate provides a rich habitat for several rare species including bats, greater crested newts, waxcap fungi and orchids. There are areas of semi ancient woodland, softwood plantations, public rights of way, woodland walks and both arable and pasture which is leased to a local farming company. The garden is varied consisting of formal parterres, rose garden, rock garden, boating pond, arboretum, and a working kitchen garden complex including vegetable garden, glasshouses and orangery.
This role will provide an opportunity to work with the garden team in the formal and kitchen gardens as well as with the warden team on the wider estate. Tyntesfield has a large range of community groups and volunteer who help us on the property, a key part of this role is to work with and alongside these groups.

The Urban Academy is the Kingswood Foundation’s programme of open access youth arts activities. From September 2010 we will be offering sessions for young people aged 13-19 in a range of art-forms including dance, film and drama, live music, DJ / MC / music technology, graffiti / visual arts and more.
We are looking for volunteer assistants for the following sessions: live music; DJ/MC/music technology; graffiti/visual arts; dance; drama/film. Volunteers will work as part of a team with the tutors and project assistants to provide smoothly-run, high-quality activities for young people. This post would suit someone with arts experience who is interested in moving into youth arts or youth work, and students looking for practical experience in youth arts. We will provide training for volunteers and may be able to support you in the early stages of achieving a youth work qualification.

The programme’s activities are: recruiting, interviewing and matching volunteers, supporting volunteers and developing and maintaining volunteering opportunities. Committed to the potential of volunteering, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be an effective negotiator and have a flexible and positive attitude to your work.
You will have good administration skills including keyboard and word processing skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will have an understanding of the needs of customers and commitment to customer care and have the ability to take the initiative when managing time and tasks effectively.

This is a part time post in the 2 – 3 year old room:
From 1st September – 1st October the successful candidate will be required to work Wednesday – Friday (22.5 hours per week).
From 6th October the successful candidate will be required to work Wednesday’s only (7.5 hours per week).
Description:
The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, committed, be able to work as part of a team and have good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and child development.
Qualification/experience: level 3 in Childcare with a minimum of 1 years experience in an early years setting
Salary: £13,689 pro rata.
